Free 30-min consult

We meet on a quick call. You share what's bringing you here, I explain how I work, and we decide together if this is the right fit. Zero pressure.

Intake & first session

A 60-minute deep dive: history, goals, and your first hypnotherapy experience. You'll leave with a clear plan and a recording to use between sessions.

Your program

Typically 4 to 8 follow-up sessions, weekly or bi-weekly. We track progress against the goals you set in session one and adjust as we go.

Common questions

The things people ask before booking.

Will I be aware of what is happening?
Yes, completely. Hypnotherapy is a state of focused attention with deep physical relaxation. You will hear my voice, you can speak, and you can open your eyes any time. Most people describe it as the kind of absorption you feel when a book pulls you in.
How many sessions will I need?
For most concerns I work with, anxiety, insomnia, stress patterns, performance, meaningful change happens in 4 to 8 sessions. We will set clear goals in session one and review them as we go. I will not recommend more than you need.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. About 70% of my practice is online, over a private secure video link. In-person sessions happen at my Austin studio. Telehealth works just as well for most concerns, and you actually relax more in your own space.
Is this covered by insurance?
Hypnotherapy is generally not covered by US insurance. I provide a superbill on request that some HSA/FSA plans will reimburse. I also offer sliding-scale spots. Please ask if cost is a barrier.
What if I am worried I cannot be hypnotized?
A very common concern, and almost always wrong. Responsiveness is a skill, not a gift, and the people most worried about doing it right tend to be the most thoughtful clients I work with. We start gently and build from there.
